Assembly and Use

Take a look at how easy the shieldVAC can be utilized in your practice.

  • STEP 1: ATTACH SHIELD TO ARM & ARM TO CHAIR

    The shieldVAC shield is secured to a bendable support arm at the end containing plastic block with the narrow slit, and then tightening the knob to secure the shield in place. The other end of the support arm includes a clamping device, configured to clamp the support arm to the patient’s chair, either behind the headrest, at the chair arm, or to another manageable support.

  • STEP 2: INSERT AND SECURE HVE TO SHIELD

    Centered in the middle of the shieldVAC shield is and circular pre-cut opening for receiving your HVE suction device, with adapter. The suction end of your HVE is inserted and secured into the opening through the back of the shield.

  • STEP 3: ATTACH ARM TO HVE HOSE

    Secure the shieldVAC bendable arm to your HVE hose using the hose fasteners provided. You are now ready to position the arm and use the shieldVAC.
